The Faith Symposium is an annual four-day event which takes place in February at Ampelforth College, Yorkshire. Participants are invited to engage in theological discussion prompted by several talks given by visiting speakers. The main priority of the symposium is to engage with issues addressed in the writings of Fr Edward Holloway; particularly his Catholicism: A New Synthesis. Inspired by Fr Holloway’s philosophical and theological ideas, the symposium primarily exists to encourage discussion about the intellectual foundations of the Catholic faith and to stimulate interest in the relationship between theology and evangelisation. The days include Holy Mass, the Divine Office, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and time for socialising and recreation. If you are interested in attending the Faith Symposium then please get in touch with the event organiser via firstname.lastname@example.org.
