Southern Summer Break 2008

Woldingham School, Surrey. Monday 11 August - Thursday 14 August 2008.

For 11-14 year olds from the South, Midlands, and West.

This will be the 25th annual Faith Summer Break! A well organised, fun, educational, and prayerful week for Catholic youth aged 11-14.  Every year young people enjoy coming back again, and some even refer to it as the best week of their year!

What happens in the week?

There will be imaginative talks on the Faith, discussion, daily Mass, opportunities for Confession, and devotional prayers.  There will also be plenty of time for relaxing, sports (football, tennis, rounders, cricket, swimming), karaoke, and an outing to an Adventure Park.

Where is it?

The week will take place at Woldingham School, Surrey CR3 7YA, in beautiful countryside, just inside the M25.  The school has extensive grounds, sports facilities, and a swimming pool.

Who runs it?

There will be 4 priests, a professional youth worker, teachers, and other young Catholic volunteers present for the week.  All activities are monitored for the sake of safety and co-operation is expected.
