The FAITH movement was founded by Frs Edward Holloway and Roger Nesbitt in 1972. It is a registered charity (no. 278314). The charism of the movement is preserved by the trustees of the charity which is made up of priests and laity (Chair: Fr Roger Nesbitt, vice-Chair: Fr Hugh MacKenzie, Treasurer: Fr Ian Vane). There is also a FAITH Council made up of about 20 priests and laity which meets twice a year to discuss strategy and problems.The FAITH movement operates a child protection policy.
